Chris is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and a podcast host. He is famously known for playing the role Alex miller in a NBC sitcom named Whitney, Danny burton in NBC sitcom undateable, Kenny on the NBC television show named the good doctor and Henderson on a Netflix original thriller series named as you.
Early life of D’Elia
Chris is the son TV producer and director Bill D’Elia and an interior decorator Ellie D’Elia. He also has a brother who is younger than him and is an actor and a filmmaker. His father belongs from a second generation Italian-American and his mother is from Polish and Italian descent. Until the age of twelve, he was born and raised in New Jersey and then his parents relocated to Los Angeles. He did his graduation from La Canada high school in the year 1998.

Personal life of Chris
In the year 2006, Chris married the actress Emily Montague but the couple got divorced in the year 2010. Despite of his characters in Undateable and Whitney in which he portrayed of being a frequent drinker, he has never touched any sort of drugs or drinks in his entire life. He lives in Los Angeles. In June 2020, he was accused of the allegations of sexual harassment and solicitation of nude photos by multiple underage girls although he denied all the accusations against him. In February 2021, Chris posted a video on his YouTube channel in which he said that sex controls his life and mentioned the fact that he stands by that all of his relationships were consensual and legal. However in March 2021, he was sued by a woman whose identity is unidentified in the US federal court having the allegation that Chris harassed the woman when she was 17 and also demanded sexually explicit images from her, she further told that both of them met on social media.
