The interview was released the previous year in many countries, but Netflix allowed it for streaming in the U.K., U.S., and Canada beginning Sunday. The 90-min documentary is highly focused on Princess Diana’s “Panorama” interview, where she conversed openly from Kensington Palace about her busted marriage to Prince Charles, confirmed rumors of his infidelity with his second wife Camilla Parker Bowles.

Released in 2016, ‘The Crown’ has followed the royal family for many decades, starting in the late 1940s and early 50s with the ceremony and early careers of Prince Philip & Queen Elizabeth. Seasons 1 and 2 featured Claire Foy as the monarch. Season 3, released in 2019, moved forward in time till the 1960s and 70s, replacing the cast as time advanced and with Oliva Colman at the peak of the cast. Season 4 followed the relationship between Prince Charles & Princess Diana during the 1980s, while the last season will dwell into the 1990s, a very intense period for the British Royal family.
