Boruto: Naruto next generation is a Japanese manga original series. The series began with a monthly serialization as a magazine in May of the year 2016. Initially, Boruto originated from Shueisha’s proposal to Kishimoto on asking her to make a sequel to Naruto. However, at first, Kishimoto rejected this offer and further proposed his former assistant Mikio Ikemoto draw it; the writer of the film Boruto: Naruto the Movie, Ukyō Kodachi, was the one who created the plot. At the same time, both Kodachi and Ikemoto are currently in charge of the manga. An anime television series adaptation directed by Noriyuki Abe started airing on TV Tokyo on 5 April 2017. Unlike the manga, which began as a retelling of the Boruto film, the anime begins as a prequel set before Boruto and his friends become ninjas in a later story arc. Apart from this, A series of light novels have also been written.
The plot of the series
The manga continues re-telling the stories of boruto: Naruto, the movie of a teenager whose name is boruto and struggling through his life while facing a foe name kawaka, along with the duration of the destruction of his village. Although, initially, boruto feels it wrong and quite angry with his father having to put the village before his own family. And this is the time when boruto decides to become a ninja and also joins a ninja team.
Now, in the next mission of boruto, he serves as a bodyguard of tento, by the need of being acknowledged by his father. Then a group of bandits kidnaps tento, boruto being his bodyguard and a ninja rescues him. Now, kawaka becomes an adopted member of the family to protect him. However, when Naruto and Sasaki were trying to protect kawaka, they get defeated by the group. Then comes the team 7, and they are the one who saves Naruto when boruto could not. After learning and facing all of these things, Sasuke comes to discover that all the karma users will be eventually taken over by the clan itself, including the jigen too.
