Jada Pinkett Smith faced a nu-metal band named Wicked Wisdom, back in the 2000s. For a unique Mother’s Day-themed event of Red Table Talk, Jada Smith’s Facebook Watch talk show with her child Willow Smith and mum Adrienne Banfield-Norris, the child got the troop back together to overwhelm her mum with a performance of “Bleed All Over Me.”
It concluded with Smith exposing she’d been quietly planning for months to lead the Wicket Wisdom members to this show. She also spoke about her memories of being a little girl and her mum taking her and Jaden on the trip with her.
“Mum, I simply love you so much, and I want you to feel a little bit of the grace and the love that you’ve given me during my entire life and continue to give me,” she replied, “I want to wish – Happy Mother’s Day.” There were hugs all around with Jade Smith and the group members before Willow Smith performed a show of one of her mum’s popular songs, “Bleed All Over Me” as Jade Smith and Willow Smith’s maternal grandmother, Adrienne “Gammy” Banfield-Norris, rolled out. During the show, she even spoke that – the Wicked Wisdom group was lit. It’s the music that I rose around. My mum was a superwoman, she was a fighter, rock star, and nurturer.
Willow Smith added that she wished to make Jada Smith feel “a tiny little bit of the grace and the love that you have given me my whole life and continue to give me.” After the show, the former Wicked Wisdom lead was in tears as she went to hug Smith. Jada Smith shared this video on Insta, writing, “My heart split in a thousand distinct ways having my girl honor me. I love you, Willow Smith♥️🙏🏽♥️.”
